Important Advise Regarding Job Titles

We spend 1 - 2 hours every night manually screening all jobs posted for our partner sites. We often email our clients suggestions about their postings. Many of the suggestions we make are related to job title. We understand that your job title can be the single biggest factor that will affect your response.

People often look up jobs on our site (using our advanced search feature) or various partner sites by job title. To receive maximum response, it is imperative that you keep this in mind when creating your job title. If you're looking for a Registered Nurse and just use Registered Nurse in your job title, a job seeker will not find the job
if they do a keyword search for RN. If you just use RN in your job title, a job seeker will not find the job doing a keyword search for Registered Nurse. Keep this is mind regardless of your job title. If there is more than 1 keyword in the job title that people may search for, make sure you incorporate this into your title. We allow you an unlimited number of characters in the job title field, so please take advantage of this to increase your response.

Think like a job seeker. If you feel that a Nurse will look for a job by looking for Nursing, Registered Nurse, or RN, make sure you create a title that includes all 3 keywords, and you'll triple your response.

Also, please spell out your words. If you are looking for a Lab Tech, and you post your job as such, someone looking for a job that types in Laboratory Technologist is not going to find your job. However, if you type
in Laboratory Technologist, someone will find it if they type in Lab Tech or Laboratory Technologist. The reason for this is that Lab is contained in the word Laboratory, and Tech is contained in the word Technologist.
However, Laboratory is not contained in the word Lab, and Technologist is not contained in the word Tech.

Traveling Emergency Room Registered Nurse/RN - Nursing
Director of Nursing - Registered Nurse/RN - Nursing
Licensed Practical Nurse/LPN - Nursing
Speech-Language Pathologist/Speech Therapist/SLP
Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant/COTA
Ultrasonographer/Ultrasound Technologist
Director of Pharmacy/Pharmacist
