Full time inpatient medical records auditor. You will be auditing inpatient charts, educating, and training inpatient coders.
The auditor will work under the supervision of our Assistant Director and or designee. The candidate should be qualified to perform such task as but not limited to, proficiently assigning ICD-9-CM and CPT codes following coding guidelines, proficiently use coding compliance software, act as a liaison between coders and managers, and maintain educational relationship with coders and physicians and other duties commensurate with their ability as requested by their supervisor.

Job Requirements:
Requires minimum of 5 years of recent inpatient medical coding/auditing experience with strong communication skills and a desire to train inpatient medical coders.
