We are seeking a licensed practical nurse (LPN)who provides direct patient care, meeting both psychological and physical needs of the patients in accordance with physicians' orders, OSHA, nursing and department guidelines. The LPN fulfills these duties to contribute to the continuity and quality of care while fostering the best interest and well-being of patients and their families. Identifies those situations requiring clinical judgment and escalates these issues to clinicians. Provides support and back-up for medical assisting duties as needed. Education: Graduate of a state-approved school of practical nursing.
Possesses a current license to practice as a practical nurse in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. Minimum of one year nursing experience, preferably in ambulatory care. Must have experience with injections and IVs. Experience using EMR also required. |
