Are you an experienced Medical BILLER? Do you have a broad range of knowledge of insurance plans, medical terminology, billing procedures, government regulations and medical codes? Are you looking to expand your knowledge? Work for a thriving office? If so, look no further!
We are in search of a professional, bright, eager, self motivated Medical Biller to work in the Colorado Springs area.
ALL CANDIDATES MUST:
Have at least 3yrs medical billing experience
Be proficient at submitting claims to various insurance companies electronically
Be able to make adjustments based on the insurance company’s input
Be able to analyze patients records and financial status to establish budget payments
Be able to review, submit and track patient statements & payments
Be able to perform various collection actions
Be able to conduct thorough A/R follow up
Be able to handle denial management
Have ample knowledge in EOBs
Be an effective communicator and handle questions and patient complaints
Be able to work closely with a team of billers and medical coding department
Be detail oriented & efficient
ALWAYS MAINTAIN STRICTEST CONFIDENTIALITY; adheres to all HIPAA guidelines/regulations
