The Director Surgical Services oversees all operations of the main operating room. Responsibilities also include developing processes and systems to assure an efficient and effective operating room.

Develops positive relationships between hospital and Physician

Establishes personnel performance standards in an effort to ensure the provision of high quality patient care services

Directs the development of financial operations, operating and capital budgets
-
Also investigates new techniques and equipment and collaborates with physicians regarding clinical aspects of patient care.

Understands process and systems management and capable of using this knowledge to engineer/implement change.

Champion of change and exemplary communication skills
JOB SPECIFICATIONS
Bachelor's Degree required, MSN preferred
At least 5 years of clinical experience within clinical specialty
Strong analytical and documentation skills to evaluate and record financial and statistical information
