We are actively searching for a Chief Accounting Officer to oversee all financial functions (Accounting, Payroll, and AP Depts) for our client's facilities that include Skilled Nursing Facilities, Home Care, Hospice, and Pharmacies.The ideal candidate must have experience in Healthcare Finance with Medicare, Medicaid, and HMO/Third Party Payors and will oversee items related to global cash forecasting. S/he will report to the CFO.
Qualifications:
**Prefer candidates with recent multi-site CFO/CAO experience out of a Skilled Nursing Facility setting with oversight of a minimum of 15-20 locations.**
•Bachelors Degree in Accounting or Finance and six (6) years of successful financial experience in skilled nursing or equivalent combination of experience and education required.
•Basic understanding of Excel, Word, computerized accounting systems and applicable PC software.
•Experience with Corporate accounting systems.
•Advanced knowledge of nursing home financial operations.
•Advanced knowledge of Medicare and Multi-State Medicaid reimbursement regulations.
•Excellent written and communication and training skills.
•Must be able to read, write, and follow oral and written directions at a level necessary to accomplish the job.
•Must be able to effectively supervise others.
•Must meet all local health regulations and pass post-employment physical exam, if required. This requirement includes drug screening, criminal background investigation, and reference inquiry.
Starting $115k DOE plus up to 15% bonus
