DENTAL ASSISTANT
Experienced Dental Assistants needed for busy corporate dental facility located on the premises. Ideal candidates are available to work Per Diem/PRN shifts in order to pick up extra days when patient load exceeds the attention of current staff. Multiple opportunities to fill in for vacations, sick days and PTO of current staff. "Great staff, excellent work environment". Excellent hourly wage. Daily shifts available with hours of 8A-6P and Saturday mornings. If you are an experienced Dental Assistant looking to earn additional money during the holidays, this is the opportunity for you!
- Experience as a Dental Assistant is required; 3-5 year's experience is preferred
- Provide treatment support by prepping and preparing patients for the dentist and hygienist.
-Other responsibilities include: sterilization, set-up and break-down of patient rooms, and assisting with patient care as needed.
-In addition, could provide backup in the front office scheduling appointments, verifying insurance, checking patients in and out along with other front office responsibilities.
-This position will allow the successful candidate to work in a state-of-the art facility while utilizing best practices both clinically and technologically.
-Must be a Registered Dental Assistant with the State of Texas
-Must have a current BLS card through the American Red Cross or the American Heart Association
-Experience with Eagelsoft or Dentrix software along with electronic medical records is preferred.
-Excellent communication skills both verbally and written required
-Outstanding customer service and computer skills required
Preference given to candidates who possess the following skills:
-Interest and ability to work PRN
-Bilingual
-Pediatrics through geriatrics experience
