Our Hospital seeks to hire a Director of Finance. The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:
EDUCATION:
-BA/BS in Accounting, Finance, or related field
LICENSE/CERTIFICATION:
-CPA required; must be current and active certification
EXPERIENCE
-Three to five years of increasingly responsible management and leadership experience in a finance/accounting department of an acute-care, full-service hospital.
-Experience in Microsoft Word and Excel, strong numerical aptitude, verbal and written communication skills.
DUTIES
-Responsible for the development of a comprehensive financial program that accurately presents the financial position of the entity in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).
-Provide financial consulting and interpret financial information to the board of trustees, senior management, and entity managers.
-Responsible for the preparation of the operating and capital budget, and financial three-year plan.
-Coordination of senior management's best estimate of operating results, capital needs, working capital, and financing needs.
-Responsible for the daily supervision of the Finance/Accounting office, Patient Access Services functions (including revenue cycle and performance scorecard), Medical Records, IS Manager, and Materials Management.
