| Certified Medical Coder/Billing Specialist |

A full-time, experienced certified coder/medical billing specialist is needed for a busy medical practice. A desirable candidate is one who is energetic and self- motivated to support this successful business. Also, he/she must be enthusiastic, punctual and reliable. The candidate must also have the following qualifications:
-Good time management skills, ability to multi-task
-Experience following up on patient accounts
-Experience working unpaid and rejected insurance claims
-Experience re-submitting claims and appealing claims to insurance carriers
-Experience and knowledge in working both patient and insurance Accounts Receivable on a regular basis
-Experience posting payments both manually and automatically
-Experience and Knowledge of CPT and ICD codes and associated reimbursement knowledge
-Experience with clearing manual and electronic claim rejections, making edits and expediting the claim cycle
-Experience with practice management billing software, typing, and using the computer without problems
-Experience with CERNER and EHR systems is a MUST
Salary is dependent on experience
