<p>The experienced Business Office Manager candidate will cover our<strong> f</strong>acilities in Connecticut, Maryland, Massachusetts, Pennsylvania & West Virginia.</p>
<p><strong>Job Summary</strong><br />The Area Collections Manager assists the Region Manager, Collections in being a resource and liaison to the field business office personnel and divisional and regional teams as it relates to the functions of the business office in an assigned geographic area. Maintains knowledge of and demonstrates the company's policies, procedures, programs, and practices. Monitors receivable trends to identify best practices and potential risks, while incorporating findings into process improvements. Conducts third party and billing activities as needed and assists in training of new business office personnel. </p>
<p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Monitors Billing and Collection Activities at assigned facilities</li>
<li>Assures proper accounting procedures and controls are in place and followed in assigned facilities</li>
<li>Analyzes collection trends on a monthly basis for assigned facilities</li>
<li>Recommends write offs on bad debt accounts</li>
<li>Assures consistent implementation and compliance with all company policies and procedures for Business Office functions to maximize revenue and cash flow</li>
<li>Ensures all required records are maintained and submitted, as appropriate, in an accurate and timely manner and in compliance with federal and stat regulations</li>
<li>Maintains knowledge of Medicare and Medicaid regulations related to billing</li>
<li>Other Duties as Assigned</li>
<li>Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration/Accounting preferred, but not required.</li>
<li>Minimum of five (5) years experience in third party billing/collections with at least two (2) years in a supervisory capacity preferred.</li>
<li>Proficient in the use of a personal computer.</li>
<li>This position will require travel to multiple facilities.</li>
</ul>
