Providing comprehensive administrative leadership within the clinical units and departments for adults and geriatric patients.
Oversees the provision of quality of all the medical/surgical inpatient units. Integrates decisions of committees into the operation and activities of the department.
REPORTING RELATIONSHIP:
Reports to the Vice President of Patient Care Continuum and is responsible for providing supervision to management and staff.
FUNCTIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Develops departmental programs for adult and geriatric patients consistent with Hospital vision, mission and strategic plan.

Job Requirements:
Strong Director level experience within Adult Med/Surg department.
