Print this page, so you'll have hard copy to refer to. At the time that we registered your company to post jobs on the site, you should have received a Job Posting Starter Kit. If you need another copy, please click on this link and print it out.
http://www.careeroptions.com/starterkit.html
Continue below if you are going post your jobs manually, and wish to set up your company profile, and begin posting jobs.
2. Click on the "Advertising Information"
button on the left side of this page, and print out a master list
of job posting categories available. This will be helpful to you
later.
3. Click on the "Post A New Job"
button on the left side of this page, or the Home Page.
4. You will come to a screen that says
"Welcome, Please Login" Enter the
Username and Password that were set up with/by Ken Levinson or Harry
Gross. These items are not case sensitive. If you don't
remember either of these items, call Ken at (800) 863-8314. Once
you enter your Username and Password, click the Login button.
5.
Once you Login, you will be redirected to a screen that will have
8 buttons on the left side.
Occasionally, a screen will pop up

Before posting
your first job, you need to complete a profile on your company.
The profile allows you to enter and save information that will often
remain the same for each job posting. This will save you a tremendous
amount of time when posting jobs, as much of the repetitive information
will already be filled out for you. You may update/edit your company
profile at any time. To complete or update/edit your company profile,

Profiles". You may have as many company profile as you'd
like to, so each person in your company that uses the site, can
have their own if they'd like to.

If you would just like the expiration notice to go to just go to the carbon copy email address, and not to the email address in the job posting, check where it says: "Check this box if you'd like expiration notices to just be sent to this email address, and not the email address contained in the expiring jobs".

Some are open to hiring from Canada, and some are not. Click a

Hot
Posting Tip
- If you want to post a job to multiple categories, multiple locations,
and/or multiple position types (all within the same posting), there
are instructions built right into the site for doing so. We also
have a feature that allows you to post multiple jobs that are very
similar (with minor variations), one at a time. This will be useful
when you have jobs that are very similar, but have some minor differences
that are not related to position category, position location, or
position type. Let's say you want to post virtually the same Pharmacist
job, but one is a day shift, and one is an evening shift:
a.
If you want to copy a new job that was posted today, click where
it says "Click Here to view new jobs posted today". If
you want to copy a job that was posted before today, click the "Display
All Jobs" button. Find the job posting you want to copy.
b. Click on the "Copy" button
(4th button) on the left side of the box that summarizes the job
that you wish to copy.
c. When you do this, the Job Details
input screen will appear. Make the minor changes that you want to.
Changes can include anything.
d. Save the new job posting by clicking
on the "Submit Query" button at the bottom of the posting.
e.
If you want to copy an existing job, and post it to multiple categories, multiple locations, and/or multiple position types (all within the same posting), use the copy button, and follow the instructions built right into the site for doing so. This will be a huge time saver for some of our clients, so please call Ken Levinson at (800) 863-8314, if you have any questions.
11.
There are often times that a company will need to edit one or more
items in multiple jobs. This can happen if someone makes an error,
or if there's a change, like a change of contact, etc... We allow
you to make these types of changes in either all of your jobs or
some of them, at the same time. To do so, click the "Edit Multiple
Jobs/Profiles" button after you login. You may then select
to make the change(s) in either all your jobs, or just the jobs
you select. You may also make any applicable changes to your company
profile at the same time. Simply follow the instructions. Call Ken
Levinson at 800-863-8314 if you have any questions.
12.
When a job seeker views a job posting on Absolutely Health Care, the Absolutely Health Care logo appears at the top of the page (above the posting). However, you have the option to replace the Absolutely Health Care logo with your own logo. If you would like to do so, please email your logo to klevinson@mindspring.com, and include your username and contact information in the email (in case we have any questions). Feel free to send any size logo you'd like, but if it's too big, we will need to re-size it, which can cause distortion. To minimize distortion, we recommend that you send your logo as 420 pixels wide and 93 pixels high. If you want it a little smaller or bigger, that will be fine, but at least this will give you a guideline. The logo must be sent in a GIF or JPG format, and the graphic must be centered within the GIF or JPG.
13.
We've tried to make this site as user friendly as possible. If you
have any problems, questions, compliments, or suggestions, please
call Ken Levinson at (800) 863-8314.

Levinson's Comments - Notice that VHS uses Registered Nurse/RN
in their job title. This will allow many more people to find
this posting on our partner sites. People often look up jobs
on our partner sites by job title. If VHS just used Registered
Nurse in their job title, a job seeker will not find the job
on our partner sites if they search for RN. If VHS just used
RN in their job title, a job seeker will not find the job
on our partner sites if they search for Registered Nurse.
Keep this is mind regardless of your job title. If there is
more than 1 job title that people may search for, try to incorporate
this into your title.

Registered Nurse/RN, Licensed Practical Nurse/LPN, Speech-Language
Pathologist/SLP, Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant/COTA,

Levinson's Comments - Pay attention to the categories that are
available to you, and post your job to all applicable categories,
as this is the way that candidates look for jobs on Absolutely
Health Care. We recently had a client seeking a Nurse Manager
for their Emergency Room. They posted the job to the Nurse:
Management category. We noticed this, and suggested that they
also post the job to the Nurse: Emergency category. We also
had a client seeking a Surgical Technician. They posted the
job to the Allied Health: Technician category. We noticed this,
and suggested that they also post the job to the Allied Health:
Surgical Services category. This is very simple to do using
our copy feature. Simply click on the copy button, change the
category, and you'll instantly have the job posted in both categories. |

At
Valley Health System, a growing, well-respected, non-profit
health care provider, we deliver a complete continuum of care
for over 450,000 people living in what we consider to be the
most beautiful place on the East Coast -- the four-state area
surrounding Virginia's northern Shenandoah Valley. Exciting
nursing opportunities can be found in a number of locations,
including the state-of-the-art Winchester Medical Center --
a 408-bed level II facility in Winchester, Virginia. We are
especially proud that Winchester Medical Center is now ranked
as one of the top 100 cardiovascular facilities in the country!
RNs also can enjoy working at the 131-bed Warren Memorial Hospital
in Front Royal, Virginia -- a full-service home-town community
hospital. Our nurse case management model is recognized nationally,
and we provide an active presence throughout our community --
true nursing "beyond the walls." From home-based nursing services
to high-tech open heart surgery, neurosciences, women and children's
services, behavioral health services, emergency care, cancer
care, orthopaedic services, long-term care and more, Valley
Health System leads the way to quality health care for this
region. |

Levinson's Comments - Notice the quality job VHS does of selling
their facility. This will greatly enhance your response. Due
to our company profile, this information (for most facilities)
only needs to be entered once on the site, and then it's automatically
coped into each of your new postings. This information can be
edited, but it's designed to keep your inputting time to a minimum. |

Levinson's Comments - VHS has provided a facility picture that
is posted on Absolutely Health Care. We offer the ability to
place both a facility picture and city picture on our site.
This is a very nice touch, and increases response. Yet, less
than 10% of our clients have taken advantage of this benefit. |

The
Shenandoah Valley of Virginia features small towns and rural
communities, old Indian camping grounds and Civil War sites,
rolling horse farms and spreading apple orchards, and -- a mere
70-mile drive to the east -- all of the big-city amenities of
our national capitol in Washington. Winchester, Virginia --
in the heart of the northern Shenandoah Valley -- is the largest
"small" city in the Valley. Laced with interstate highways,
Winchester is a Virginia certified business community and the
region's hub of economic, cultural, educational, and recreational
activity. Just a few miles to the south lies Front Royal, Virgina
-- a gracious historic town widely known as the gateway to the
scenic Skyline Drive. In this beautiful region, discover the
bounty of the great outdoors, quality health care, fine schools
and universities, a diverse culture, a family-oriented slower

Levinson's Comments - Notice the quality job that VHS does of
selling their compensation, benefits, and relocation assistance.
Even more importantly, look at how progressive their policies
are. Whenever a client tells us that they're not getting any/much
response to their posting(s), I'll go and look at the posting
to see why. In the relocation assistance category, the posting
will almost always say "none". When we used to be a recruiting
firm, I can't tell you how many times a facility that didn't
offer a relocation package, paid us a $15,000 fee, and we in
turn gave the candidate a few thousand dollars to pay for their
relocation. The employer would have never needed to use us,
and they would have saved thousands of dollars, if they offered
a competitive package to begin with. This is obviously VHS's
thinking, and they have told us how much money this saves them
in recruiter fees, and travel/locum tenens company fees. |
