The Sr. Technical EMR Analyst is responsible for performing a variety of technical tasks to support the Centricity Electronic Medical Record application and related components.  This includes, but is not limited to, skilled forms development, data exchange interface development, testing and implementation of clinical content for the Centricity Electronic Medical Records application with minimal supervision.  Responsibilities include gathering user requirements, analysis and development of forms changes for new and existing specialties.  The Sr. Technical EMR Analyst creates form specification documentation, liaisons with other developers as needed, validates changes and coordinates with the Sr. EMR Implementation Analyst for the release management of the changes.  The Sr. Technical EMR Analyst will be responsible for communicating changes that have been implemented and will maintain the integrity of clinical content in the system.  Additionally, this position is responsible for implementing upgrades to the clinical content software in a timely manner adhering to project management plans and established procedures. Experience Required: I.        Minimum Position Requirements A.    Education 1.     Bachelor's degree or equivalent * WITH specialized coursework in computer science, management information systems or healthcare required 2.     Applicable Industry Standard Certifications highly desired (MCSE, CCNA, VMS or HP/UX)   *Equivalent experience is defined as          Associates degree and 4+ years of experience in IT and Healthcare Information Systems   B.    Experience/Knowledge: 1.     Demonstrated experience in CCC and VFE forms development tools, including protocol text file editors 2.     Demonstrated understanding of forms propagation within the system and use of observation terms within Centricity 3.     2+ years experience developing Crystal Reports with version 8 or higher 4.     Demonstrated knowledge of MS Access, MS Project, MS Visio and Oracle databases 5.     1-3 years experience developing and maintaining forms using one or more of the following editing tools languages associated with the Centricity EMR product line:          MEL, VFE, EFE, and TFE 6.     Skilled in Object Oriented Programming 7.     Crystal Reporting experience 8.     1-3 years experience working with the Centricity EMR application 9.     2+ years experience with healthcare applications in a hospital or ambulatory environment 10.  1-3 years experience preferred in script programming 11.  3-5 years experience in hardware troubleshooting system assembly highly desired 12.  1-3 years experience in an IT operator role preferred   C.    Skills: 1.     A demonstrated ability to:          Analyze and evaluate user issues          Learn and maintain current knowledge on appropriate technology          Communicate and work effectively with others          Work independently          Meet deadlines and prioritize issues in a fast paced environment          Understand and troubleshoot terminal emulation, service management and Microsoft Office Suite          Detail oriented   Benefits: Contact: Please tell this company you saw their job posting at Absolutely Health Care. recruiter recruiter (employment@sutterhealth.org) Click Here To Reply To This Position Online Now!
