Maxim Health Information Services (MHIS), a subsidiary of Maxim Healthcare Services, was formulated to address the growing needs of health information management (HIM) in healthcare facilities. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
-MHIS is seeking a coding auditor to perform coding reviews and audits for MHIS clients.
-Adheres to all Maxim and worksite rules, policies and procedures.
-May perform other duties as required, assigned or deemed necessary by Maxim and/or the facility/client/supervisor.
-Pay scale is $80k range.

| Experience Required: |
Job Requirements
-The following credentials (or a combination) are required: Registered Health Information Administrator (RHIA), Registered Health Information Technician (RHIT), Certified Coding Specialist (CCS), and Certified Coding Specialist - Physician (CCS-P).
-Must have ICD-9-CM and CPT-4 coding experience
-Knowledge of IP,OP, and ER coding specialties and experience with APR-DRGs a plus
-Broad understanding of Official Coding Guidelines and regulatory requirements.
-Must have knowledge of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word software programs.
-Ability to communicate effectively - both in writing and orally.
-Three plus years prior auditing / consulting experience
-Travel 85%
