This Senior Statistical Programmer will be part of a Government Program Integrity initiative and will participate in prospective and retrospective fraud investigations for several key businesses within UnitedHealth Group. Bringing data together to create tabular and general statistical reports, you will extract data from multiple claims platforms and access various systems for the purpose of retrospective review. The Senior Statistical Programmer will also analyze data in various payment systems to identify additional savings opportunities. | Experience Required: |
Must have working knowledge of a wide variety of software applications (SAS, SQL, Java, Oracle, etc.) SAS programming experience is a must Successful candidates will have several years of programming experience; recent graduates with statistics or quantitative experience in math or economics are also suitable A working knowledge of healthcare claims processes is a plus Ability to work independently is important Diversity creates a healthier atmosphere: equal opportunity employer M/F/D/V UnitedHealth Group is a drug-free workplace.
