Position Description: The Network Administrator is responsible for the network infrastructure (including but not limited to the WAN, LAN, and wireless physical and logical infrastructure) through all lifecycle phases including design, installation, maintenance, administration, and support. Will have a primary focus on wireless technologies including planning and design, site surveys, and operational support. Participates in the solution design and implementation process of the network infrastructure. Prepares and maintains relevant documentation. Participates in the creation, communication, and advancement of technical and administrative standards. Provides consultation to business units and other members of IT as needed. Adheres to all security policies and standards. Responsible for training other members of IT in maintenance and support of infrastructure components. Provides Tier 3 support for all systems and technologies within their technical domain. Will assist and support other IT staff as necessary.

PRIMARY ACCOUNTABILITIES

Design, install, maintain, administer, and support JCLHN network infrastructure including LAN/WAN/Wireless (domain of expertise).
Develop, document, and maintain standards for Network Infrastructure.
Technical administration and continuous improvement.
Effectively communicate and support strategic initiatives of both immediate and greater IT team.
Performs other duties as assigned.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS

High school diploma with at least 3-5 years related experience working with LAN/WAN design, implementation or administration, 5-7 years experience is preferred Or; Associate's degree with at least 2 year- 4 years related experience working with LAN/WAN design, implementation or administration, a Bachelor's degree is preferred.
Current Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) or equivalent as deemed by reporting manager. Current Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) or Current Extreme Network Specialist (ENS) certification or higher is preferred.
