| Position Description: |
Looking for seasoned and entry-level individuals who are Master's prepared and possess their CPHIMS.
Consultants assist with:
~ Restructuring of the organization or facility
~ Reviewing administrative infrastructure and redefining if needed
~ Preparing strategic plans
~ Developing business plans
~ Conducting analysis
~ Operational reviews of departments or facilities
~ Developing compensation plans and funds flow arrangements
~ Conducting surveys
~ Evaluating efficiency and effectiveness of performance
~ Performance improvement
~ Service line development
~ Financial planning
Projects include:
~ Evaluation of funds flow between hospitals and affiliated schools
~ Structuring and creation of multispecialty physician groups
~ Development of strategic plans for facilities
~ Financial review of facilities
~ Evaluation of billing compliance
~ Transition HIM staff to an EMR environment

Flexible - involves travel
|
| Experience Required: |
1) MUST have a Master's degree in Business or Healthcare Administration
2) MUST have CPHIMS
3) Must be familiar with HIM systems
4) Knowledge of Epic, Cerner, Prelude, Cadence, Resolute, Identity, and Clarity preferred
5) Consulting experience highly preferred
