Position Description: KRC.0209.0703.10 Shift Charge Nurse/Nurse Supervisor for 25-bed critical access hospital. This critical access hospital provides primarily medical and surgical services with a full complement of ancillary clinical services. There are also a consultant-specialist clinic and a family health clinic for local medical providers. The hospital is seeking 2 charge nurses for its day shift, 6:00am to 6:00pm. They require the following: ACLS, BLS, NRP, TNCC, PALS, and approximately 5 years nursing experience with 2 as a charge nurse. Must have Kansas licensure. The hospital is looking for nurses who can mentor and lead effectively, be a strong patient advocate, and who possess good people skills. ER and OB experience are preferred. Current staffing includes 4 RNs and 1 LPN on days and 3 RN/LPNs on nights complimented by nurse aides and ward secretaries. There is an average of 14 patients treated in the department per day.
