| Position Description: |
DESCRIPTION:
Directs and coordinates all aspects of nursing operations by performing the following duties personally or through subordinates. Responsible for nursing activities in full supervisory capacity including the development and implementation of all training, disciplinary and personnel evaluations under the direction of the Vice President of Nursing.
I. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Coordinates and manages all aspects of department operations for Infusion Centers.
Participates in developing strategic plan
Assist in budget preparation; monitors and adheres to operational budget
Develops, implements, and revises policies and procedures relative to safety, infection control, quality of care, and operations of OIC.
Ensures departmental compliance with state, federal, and nursing standards of practice.
Interviews applicants and make recommendations for hiring; conduct and review evaluations on individual staff; make recommendations for promotion, salary adjustment and/or disciplinary actions.
Facilitates staff orientation and education; ensures documentation of all training
Oversees Continuing Education Providership program
Participates in Quality Improvement committees
Monitors, analyzes and compares critical indicators for productivity in OIC
Monitors, analyzes and compares critical indicators for patient census management in OIC
Develops and implements corporate programs as applicable
Manage customer service expectations of clients and staff
Provides nursing operations support and input to staff, Division Managers, and other departments
Maintains active membership of the CNE Provider Unit Committee

This is a Monday-Friday 8:30-5:30 position. You will work in the Corporate Office of a company that has 80 sites in the US. |

| Experience Required: |
You must have previous managerial experience.
You must have excellent IV infusion skills and knowledge.
You must have a TX RN license or be eligible.
You must be a US citizen or hold a green card. |
